Laura Kresmin lives and photographs just outside Atlanta, Georgia. She brings an artist’s eye and a scientist’s discipline to her portrait photography. At ten, Laura received a microscope and a Kodak Brownie camera, both of which have shaped her view of the
world.
Laura pursued a career in microbiology, studying the shapes, colors, and patterns of microorganisms. At the same time she followed her interest in photography and has studied at the Southeastern Center for the Arts and the Showcase School of Photography in Atlanta.
